Restoring the Cemetery — Preserving the History

Woodland Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio

Established 1851 - First Burial 1853

About Us...

The beautiful grounds of Woodland Cemetery are designed in the style of a New England Cemetery. Over sixty acres of land are rich with history dating from before the Civil War. Woodland Cemetery Foundation of Cleveland, Ohio is a 501(c)3 corporation dedicated to the restoration and preservation of the cemetery, its grounds, monuments, tombstones, buildings, and perimeter. We are further committed to preserving the rich history of the cemetery and of those who are interred within its gates. To join in our volunteer efforts, please contact us at wcfcle@wcfcle.org. Donations in support of our cause are always welcome. Thank you for your interest in Woodland Cemetery.
